Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This page explains what Thrive Labs collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it — in plain language. It covers visitors to this site, users of our products, and anyone who connects a LinkedIn account to one of our tools. If anything here is unclear, email us and a human will answer.
01 Who We Are
Thrive Labs Inc. is a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We build custom AI agents for client operations, sales, and support — and we build our own AI products in-house. Pocket Director AI is live today, and a LinkedIn content-creation product is in development.
For anything privacy-related — questions, corrections, deletion requests — email suhaas@thrivelabs.ca.
02 What We Collect
Site Visitors
Browsing this site requires no account and no personal information. If you submit the Start a Project form, we receive what you type: your name, email, company name, project details, and the investment range you select. Our hosting and form-delivery providers see standard request data (IP address, browser type) as part of serving the site.
Product Users
When you use our products (Pocket Director AI today, future products as they launch), we collect the account details you sign up with (name, email), the content you upload (photos, brand assets, product details), and usage data — which features you use — so we can make the product better.
LinkedIn Integration Users
If you connect your LinkedIn account to one of our products, we only receive what you explicitly authorize on LinkedIn’s own consent screen: your basic profile information (name, photo, headline), your email address, and permission to publish posts on your behalf. We never see your LinkedIn password.
03 How We Use It
- To deliver the service you signed up for or asked about.
- To generate AI content on your behalf — that’s the product.
- To improve our products, using aggregate usage patterns.
- To respond to your inquiries.
We do not sell personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
04 Third Parties & Subprocessors
We run on a small set of infrastructure providers. Each one receives only what its job requires:
- Anthropic (Claude) — powers AI content generation.
- OpenAI — powers AI content generation for some features.
- LinkedIn API — connects your LinkedIn account and publishes approved posts (LinkedIn-connected products only).
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
- Vercel — hosts our product applications.
- GitHub Pages — hosts this website.
- Web3Forms — delivers Start a Project form submissions to our inbox.
- n8n — workflow automation moving data between our own systems.
- Clerk — account sign-in and subscription billing for Pocket Director AI.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Mixpanel — product usage analytics for Pocket Director AI.
None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes beyond providing their service to us.
05 The LinkedIn Integration
Our LinkedIn content product is built on LinkedIn’s official developer platform. This section exists so both you and LinkedIn know exactly where we stand:
- You approve every post. We draft content; nothing is published to your LinkedIn account until you approve that specific post. There is no fully automatic posting without your review.
- Official access only. We connect through LinkedIn’s official OAuth and APIs. We do not use browser automation, we never ask for your LinkedIn password, and we do not scrape your LinkedIn account.
- You can pull the plug any time. Revoke our access directly on LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services — or disconnect inside the product, or email us.
- Disconnect means delete. When you disconnect your LinkedIn account, close your account with us, or ask us to, we delete your LinkedIn access token and the LinkedIn-derived data we hold within 30 days.
06 Data Retention
- Project inquiries — kept while we’re in conversation and for as long as needed to follow up. Ask us to delete an inquiry and we will.
- Product accounts — kept while your account is active. Delete your account and we delete your account data and uploaded content within 30 days, except minimal records we’re legally required to keep (like invoices for tax purposes).
- LinkedIn-derived data — covered in section 05: deleted within 30 days of disconnection, account closure, or your request.
07 Your Rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email suhaas@thrivelabs.ca — no forms, no fees, no runaround.
We’re a Canadian company, so PIPEDA (Canada’s federal privacy law) governs how we handle personal information, and you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you think we’ve gotten something wrong. If you’re covered by another privacy law — like the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California — we extend the same rights to you: access, correction, deletion, and a copy of your data. Email us and we’ll honor it.
08 Cookies & Analytics
This website runs no analytics and no tracking or advertising cookies. There’s no cookie banner because there’s nothing to consent to.
Inside our products, we set the cookies needed to keep you signed in — functional, not advertising — and we use Mixpanel to understand which product features get used, tied to your account and used only to improve the product.
09 Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle product users’ data, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
